A pupil of mine wanted to create a dashboard for trading Bitcoin. (He will either go bankrupt or become very rich!) We needed to create some nice looking visualisations and after doing a bit of experimentation with different libraries I came across Altair. It looks good, has a nice syntax and works in ipython notebooks. I've created a cookbook of examples that build up from importing data to creating basic graphs and building them up into some dashboard components. You can download the ipython notebook here or just run it in Google Colab. You will also need to download the following files happiness and happiness_2021.
